These 21 things you can stop buying when money is tight are a great place to start. Give it a shot and let me know what you think!

How to spend less money is a question I get a lot. There are a lot of habits that can help, especially at the end of the month, but one of the simplest ways to save money is by buying less.

Brilliant Stacy. Really brilliant. We know that.

True, but there is a difference between spending less and being so cheap that you are doing without and have no quality of life. You can absolutely pay off debt – even credit card debt – and reach your savings goals by spending less and putting that money into an emergency fund, your savings accounts or even your retirement savings.

What Are Some Ways to Reduce Spending?

One very simple way to reduce spending is simply by being in the store less is because the more you are in the store, the more impulse purchases show up on your receipts.
