Easy No Fail Strawberry Butter Spread Recipe


I LOVE a bagel with a strawberry spread for lunch, but I hate paying crazy money for strawberry spreads that are full of preservatives and who knows what else at the store. There’s no reason for me to now that I have this AWESOME Strawberry Butter Spread Recipe! It’s great for breakfast or a quick lunch and would even work as an awesome snack too!

 

Strawberry lovers will adore this Easy No Fail Strawberry Butter Spread recipe! With just 3 ingredients, it's perfect on toast, bagels and more! 

This one really is foolproof. If you can run a mixer, you can make this and since it’s only 3 ingredients, it’s super quick. You can have the strawberry butter chilling in the fridge in under 15 minutes! My Emma can even make it by herself at 10 years old and in fact, did so just yesterday! She loves it just as much as I do! It also makes a FANTASTIC gift idea! Just make a double batch and use a jelly jar with a pretty ribbon or burlap to create a bow.

  • ½ cup strawberries
  • ½ stick butter, very soft
  • 1 Tbsp. powdered (confectioners) sugar

Wash and roughly chop the strawberries to whatever consistency you’d like. If you want a chunky butter, leave them roughly chopped.  If you want a smoother consistency mash them well before mixing them.

Place all ingredients in the bowl of your stand mixer (or a mixing bowl if you’re using a hand mixer), and mix for 3-4 minutes until the strawberries aren’t whole anymore. If you’re using a stand mixer, you might want to add the splatter guard to keep things from getting too messy.

Scoop out and store in an air tight container in the fridge. A 4 oz. mason jar is perfect. There is just enough left to make yourself some toast.

This will keep in fridge for about 2 weeks. To serve,  simply remove from fridge a few minutes before to soften it a bit.
