HUGE List of Places to Find Free Homeschool Curriculum

This post may contain affiliate or referral links that help keep this site running. For more information about this, please see our disclosure policy.

We recently pulled Emma out of public school (again) to homeschool her. She’s entering her 3rd full week out of school and doing great. Because it’s the end of the year (well, almost) and because she has a lot of catching up to do for the curriculum we’ll be using next year, I’m not into spending hundreds on a curriculum right now. Instead, I’d rather grab free worksheets and things to help her catch up and then worry about her curriculum later on. Which means, I’ve done a lot of searching for free homeschool curriculum. If you’re here, I’m guessing you have too.

Homeschooling your kids doesn't have to break your budget. Check out this HUGE list of places to find FREE homeschool curriculum!

So to save you time, I’ve compiled this HUGE list of FREE homeschool curriculum. They’re all packed with the things you’ll need to help teach your kids! If you happen to find one that isn’t valid any longer, please leave me a comment and let me know. I do update the list periodically, but I can’t manage it all of the time. Sometimes links change and that is beyond my control. I have done my best to keep things updated and to link to only reputable sites. I do want to mention though that some of them may not always be open about their homeschooling freebies so take the time to read the site before you let me know that the link isn’t valid any longer.

List of homeschool freebies

One resource I do want to mention is the free Amazon Kindle Reading App. They give your kids the ability to read Kindle books on the computer, on their iPhone, iPad and more. You can download the Kindle Reading app and get started reading in less than 5 minutes.

Another resource that isn’t necessarily a homeschool freebie, but we have found to be an amazing help is Amazon Instant Video. Since we are Amazon Prime members, we have access to thousands of videos for free with that membership. If you’re not a Prime member, you can get a free 30-day trial to Amazon Prime to try it out. I think you’ll love it like we do!

4th of July free homeschool printables for PreK-K.

Educents – If you’re not signed up for Educents, you’re likely missing out on amazing homeschool curriculum! Educents offers all of their curriculum at deep discounts – all the way to 90% off! They have quite a few homeschool freebies too including lesson plans, notebooking plans and fun things such as crosswords. Plus, when you sign up for an Educents account, you’ll score a free $10.00 credit to use on your first order!

Free Secular Life Science Curriculum – We use these curriculums for our daughter. He has several and offers the entire Life Science curriculum totally free so that you can check them out. I highly recommend them for folks looking for a secular homeschool science curriculum. He keeps them incredibly affordable as well. Each one after the Life Science is priced around $50.00. You can’t beat that for a curriculum option written by an a Science teacher.

I am in the process of using up/adapting our old curriculum that we weren’t happy with and plan to use this as our base next year.
