I have always been an avid reader. As a child, I spent most evenings curled up on my bed with a book after I had done my homework. To this day, I still read on long car rides or whenever I have a bit of time where I don’t have to be doing anything specific. Although these days I tend to lend more toward listening to an audio book due to time. If you like to read the way I do, you may be looking for new books to help you learn something new. These frugal living books are some of my favorites and can help you do just that!
The thing I love about these books about frugal living is how much I learn from them no matter how many times I read through them. The best frugal living books out there are like that; they have something to teach even the most frugal person. If you are trying to find ways to stop living paycheck to paycheck, these are the best personal finance books around. If you’re open to the frugal living tips in each one and are willing to follow what each author tells you, I have no doubt they will help you get your budget under control.
Frugal Living Books Everyone Should Read
Each of these personal finance books are either on my living room book shelf, on my Kindle or in my Audible library. Some I have turned to in the hope of learning a new way to lower my own homes expenses. Others I keep to read when I need a reminder. Either way, all 32 on this list are personal favorites of mine. Most of these are offered in multiple formats as well so you have the ability to choose which version you would like.
Kindle formats for books are usually far cheaper than paperback or hardback books. The exception would be if you are able to find the book you are looking for on ThriftBooks. If you’ve never shopped at Thriftbooks, it is amazing! You can find quality, used books for as little as $3.00 each and shipping is free when you spend $10.00. Plus they have a fantastic rewards program that lets you earn points toward free books with each order! We use them a lot; a lot. A lot.
