HUGE List of Places to Find Free Homeschool Curriculum

We recently pulled Emma out of public school (again) to homeschool her. She’s entering her 3rd full week out of school and doing great. Because it’s the end of the year (well, almost) and because she has a lot of catching up to do for the curriculum we’ll be using next year, I’m not into spending hundreds on a curriculum right now. Instead, I’d rather grab free worksheets and things to help her catch up and then worry about her curriculum later on. Which means, I’ve done a lot of searching for free homeschool curriculum. If you’re here, I’m guessing you have too.

Homeschooling your kids doesn't have to break your budget. Check out this HUGE list of places to find FREE homeschool curriculum!

So to save you time, I’ve compiled this HUGE list of FREE homeschool curriculum. They’re all packed with the things you’ll need to help teach your kids! If you happen to find one that isn’t valid any longer, please leave me a comment and let me know. This list will be updated monthly and I’ll add more as I come across them!

Educents – If you’re not signed up for Educents, you need to be. Not only do they offer up to 90% off of homeschool curriculum, they also put several pieces and studies out for FREE each week. Plus, if you use THIS link, you’ll score a $10.00 credit good on anything sitewide.

Free Secular Life Science Curriculum – We use these curriculums for our daughter. He has several and offers the entire Life Science curriculum totally free so that you can check them out. I highly recommend them for folks looking for a secular curriculum. He keeps them incredibly affordable as well. Each one after the Life Science is priced around $50.00. You can’t beat that for a curriculum option written by an a Science teacher.

Have you heard of allinonehomeschool.com? She has built a full curriculum that is web based for free. I am in the process of using up/adapting our old curriculum that we weren’t happy with and plan to use this as our base next year. My house loves group unit studies so I will be combing things from other sights as well. Thanks for all this hard work you have done to compile this list. I know it will bless my family!

    • Janett, I actually had someone mention All in One to me the other day! I just haven’t had the chance to check it out yet. Thanks for reminding me! 🙂

    • holly ross says:

janette im also using all in one but we call it easy peasy the kids thought that i was going to be their teacher but soon found out that they are in a sense they are teaching themselves i love it and we also put extra stuff in with ccirriculum

  2. Khan academy as well is a great free program that offers several subjects.

  3. Thank you for sharing all these great curriculum sites! I had to homeschool my 8th grader with books we already had and free sites. For math we used khanacademy.com with the links from allinonehomeschool.com. If you do it that way it’s not common core based. For typing we used typingweb.com. For spelling we used gradespelling.com and then switched to using a free membership to spellingcity.com. For excercise we used a Leslie Sansone youtube video. Homeschoolgiveaways.com has new free curriculum every day and occasionally has free kindle books you could use for homeschool. Icivics has free civics lessons but I haven’t checked it out yet. Yearroundhomeschooling.com has a list of free kindle books for homeschool almost every day once you subscribe to their newsletter.

  4. Guesthollow.com has a free Christian high school homeschool biology curriculum that has links to videos. I’m going to check it out and possibly use it in the fall.

  5. Thank you so much for posting all these fabulous websites! I really appreciate the time you took to list everything. Already I’ve found everything I need to teach health to my 9th grader, and I’ve just began looking through this amazing list!

  6. USDA Team Nutrition is working for me! Love your site!

  7. This all looks great but…aaahhhh! It’s so overwhelming! I’m realizing I’m not the homeschooling typed I had hoped.

    • Don’t let it overwhelm you Amber. Pick and choose from the list what your kids may need and ignore the rest. 🙂

  8. mathworksheets4kids.com is great!

  9. This is a great list! Thank you so much for putting it all together! This is going to be very helpful and I will be sharing it with my homeschool crew! I wanted to mention that we also love Khan Academy! Thanks again!

  10. Jessica says:

I have been homeschooling for many years now and I loved that you had many sites listed here that are new to me! I can’t wait to use them! thank you for this list!!
