It’s filling, quick to make, budget friendly and freezes well too! What more could you ask for in a meal? Oh yeah…taste!! You’ll love how quickly this works up and how it tastes like you’ve spent hours! Try it! I promise it will go into your tried and true file after just one bite! The best part? This recipe is usually pretty kid friendly! My 9 year old LOVES it!

 

You Will Need:

  • ½ lb. Thin sliced ham
  • ½ lb. Thin sliced turkey
  • ½ lb. Thin sliced Swiss cheese

For The Sauce

  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 4 Tbsp. all purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups half and half
  • 1 ½ cups chicken broth
  • 2 Tbsp. spicy brown mustard
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 ½ tsp. garlic salt
  • ½ tsp. pepper

For The Crumb Topping

  • 1 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter

Preheat your oven to 350 and grease a 9×13 casserole pan with butter. You can also use cooking spray but hey, butter makes everything better, right? Make sure to get a very good covering so that it doesn’t burn and stick to the dish.

In a small bowl combine breadcrumbs, melted butter, and Parmesan cheese and give a gentle stir until they’re well combined

In a large saucepanmelt the butter and stir in flour and allow to cook for 2 minutes on medium/low heat. Add the chicken broth and whisk well until its combined. Next, whisk in the half and half. Increase to medium-high heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Don’t walk away. Just don’t…it’s not worth it! Whisk in mustard, paprika, pepper, and garlic salt, allow to boil for a few seconds and then remove from the heat.
