DIY beauty at its coziest. This homemade pumpkin spice beeswax lip balm is the perfect fall project. Made with beeswax, shea butter, and warming spices, it is easy to make, smells amazing, and keeps lips soft all season.
Line your lip balm containers up so they are ready to be filled.
Add beeswax to the top half of your double broiler and begin to melt over medium heat. If your beeswax is not in pellet form, chop is roughly so it melts easier. Be careful not to overheat.
1.5 oz beeswax pellets
Measure coconut oil and whichever other carrier oil you are using.
Once your beeswax is fully melted (with no clumps), turn your heat down to low and stir in the coconut oil using the wire whisk until it is fully melted and incorporated. Repeat with the other carrier oil. Remove from heat and add the essential oils. Stir well.
