DIY Valentine's Day Candles

- Wrap a piece of burlap ribbon around center of candle. Add a dab of hot glue to hold it into place.1 Battery Operated Candle, Burlap Ribbon
- Cut a piece of gingham ribbon and wrap it around the center outside of the burlap you added in step one. Set aside and allow the glue to dry for 10 minutes.Red Gingham Ribbon
- Add a sticker to the front center of the candle. Use a dab of hot glue to secure it better if you wish.Heart or Love Themed Stickers
- Cut two pieces of twine long enough to wrap around the candle 4-5 times each. Wrap one piece at the top of the candle and one piece at the bottom typing in a knot or bow when finished. Trim the twine and secure the bow or knot with a small dot of hot glue.Twine
- Add batteries and display with your Valentine's decorations or wrap in tissue paper and give as a gift to your Valentine!
Notes
Safety Warning: Do not do this craft with regular candles as they are a fire risk due to the fabrics and glues used. Only use a flameless battery operated candle.
