Instructions
Preheat waffle iron and separate eggs. Beat egg whites into soft peaks. Add sugar once you get soft peaks.
Beat into stiff peaks. Set aside.
In a separate mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients, including egg yolks. Be careful not to over mix.
Gently fold in egg whites and mix until just incorporated.
Add a small amount of batter to the hot waffle iron.
Cook on waffle iron until done.
Serve hot with powdered sugar, whipped cream, berries, syrup or nuts.
