Thanksgiving Sides - Homemade Dinner Rolls
Adding to your Thanksgiving sides this year? This recipe for homemade dinner rolls is perfect! Warm, fluffy and soft, they're delicious!
warm water – about 110° F
packages active rise yeast or 4 1/2 tsp active rise yeast
⁄2 cup melted butter
⁄2 cup granulated sugar
⁄4 cups bread flour
Preheat your oven to 375° F.
Proof yeast and water for 5 minutes.
Use a wooden spoon to stir in proofed yeast, melted butter, eggs, salt and sugar in a large mixing bowl.
Stir in flour, 1 cup at a time, until stiff dough forms.
Cover and chill dough for a minimum of 2 hours.
Divide dough into 24 equal pieces.
Place dough balls in greased 9x13 baking dish.
Cover and let rise 1-2 hours until dough balls reach a size you want.
Bake at 375° F for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Brush with melted butter and serve warm.
Do not use quick rise yeast in this recipe.
