With a good portion of the country on stay at home orders, it’s only natural that your kids are probably finding themselves bored. I think I speak for most parents when I say that bored kids can be a handful. Temper tantrums, whining and more can all pop up strongly when you have a bored child. That’s why it’s so important to have kids activities for when kids are stuck in the house.

Are you kids stuck inside and bored? These 62 kids activities are perfect for days of indoor fun no matter what reason they are stuck inside!

My girls may be teenagers, but even here we are dealing with a serious case of the “I’m boreds.” They have everything int he world offered for them to do but they still “don’t have anything to do.”

Teens. One of us is not going to make until they’re eighteen. I’m not sure which one yet. Ask me in three years. 😉

Activities for Kids Who Are Stuck in the House

It was the non-stop calling of I’m bored that made me realize that I can’t be the only one dealing with bored kids who might need a few new kids activities to help them pass the time.

As parents though, we don’t want our kids doing mindless kids activities all the time.

Because of that, when I put together this list of activities for kids who are struck in the house, I tried to include things that were both fun and educational.

I would say it’s a good mix of both and in some cases, they will never even know they are learning!

How to Get Free Amazon Prime

If you are shopping online, you’ll want to do everything you can to save money. For Amazon, this means making sure you are an Amazon Prime member. There are quite a few Amazon Prime benefits but the biggest one for shopping is the free 2-day shipping. In addition to FREE Prime shipping, you’ll also score exclusive coupons, grocery deals, early access to deals, free TV with Prime video and more! If you’re not currently a member, you can grab 30-days of Amazon Prime totally free.

Kids Activities to Beat Boredom

The kids activities below are a good mix for all ages too. I did not spend too much time on toddlers and infants though simply because they are usually pretty easy to amuse.

It can also be helpful to remind your kids that even though they may be under a stay at home order in your state, they are still able to go outside to play in the yard.

In fact, that may be one of the better results of this entire coronavirus pandemic.

People are going outside to play more and nature is coming back in certain places! It isn’t much but it can help to see a silver lining in a bad situation.

These kids activities for bored kids are also great if you’re homeschooling your kids sionce most of them offer some form of educational value.

If you’re new to homeschooling your kids – and a lot of us currently are – learning how to homeschool your kids can be scary, but really is not as hard as it may seem.

On the other hand, if you just have bored kids, take a look below and find a few new kids activities to keep them occupied!

Activities for Kids Who Are Quarantined

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to play the 800,000th game of UNO this week.

They’ll never learn; Mom always wins. 😉
