The One Thing No One Tells You About Childbirth…

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Equate® and Assurance® and Walmart. All opinions are 100% mine.

My Emma was born when I was only 22 years old. I wasn’t like most new moms and didn’t really have anyone to turn to for the things about pregnancy and childbirth that no one talks about. As such, that left me on my own to figure those things out and for most of them, I just sort of winged it and figured I’d find out later on what had caused it or why it was happening. I was young. What can I say? One of those issues was bladder leakage. I know, embarrassing, right? “Why are you talking about this on your blog? kind of embarrassing. The answer is simple; because no one does.

Did you know that 30% of women over the age of 30 suffer from some form of bladder leakage? Maybe it only happens when they cough, maybe when they run or climb stairs, maybe it just happens while they’re not doing anything. For me, I suffered from bladder leakage from the time that I was 8 months pregnant and still do to a certain extent today. Even after having surgery to “fix it,” it still isn’t completely fixed. These days, at 34 years old, it’s a non-issue. I use Assurance® and Equate® products that are found at Walmart to handle it.

Why? Well for one, I adore their Options and Assurance Advantage program. This program, free to join, means that I can score exclusive offers and coupons, free members only samples and more. They even email when they have new products coming out! It makes dealing with those issues that may arise from bladder leakage so much easier!

One of the member benefits when you become a member is exclusive sweepstakes like the Options and Assurance Advantage Sweepstakes that they currently have running. Enter before October 31,2016 and you could win a $50.00 gift card! I love it when companies give back to their customers and I can’t think of a better way to do that than with free money!

Pregnancy, childbirth and the years that follow don’t have to be filled with embarrassing problems and unknown reasons. If you’re one of the 30% who are currently suffering from bladder leakage, make sure you check out both Assurance® and Equate® products at Walmart. Once you’ve done that, head on over, create your Options and Assurance Advantage account and enter the sweepstakes!

Do you have any lingering issues from pregnancy or child birth? How do you handle them?
