Favorite Money Saving Tools of the Six Dollar Family

When you’re trying to save money, the money saving tools you use can have a big impact on how successful you are or aren’t. To help you on your way to saving as much as possible, I’m letting you in on my all time favorite money saving tools. Give them a try and I’m sure you will love them as much as I do!

Most of us have our favorite sites when we are looking to try and save money but the thing about using those money saving tools we love so much is that we have to know about them.

And frankly there are just so many that it would be impossible to know them all which is what brings us to this page today.

I wanted to share my very own favorite money saving tools. They are the ones I use in my own home – some daily, others only occasionally – but they are the ones that have helped me build the six figure life that my own family enjoys.

How Can I Save More Money at Home?

InstaGC

InstaGC is a survey site that pays you for doing quite a few things. You’ll earn points for surveys, completing offers, clicking links and even things such as listening to the radio. I have been a member for years and it’s a huge help! Save your points and cash out with as little as $1.00. Once you cash out the first time, your cash (Paypal or ACH) or gift card (to hundreds of places including Amazon!) are instantly sent! Plus when you sign up you’ll earn 10 points FREE just for signing up!

If you search the web, you need to be a Swagbucks member! Swagbucks literally pays you for searching the web! Plus, you’ll have the chance to earn points in tons of different ways! You can earn for surveys, videos, games, printing coupons and loads more! Prizes are sent as gift cards or Paypal 7-10 days after you request them. I have been a member for almost a decade and have earned several thousand dollars in that time!

Get 30-days Amazon Prime Free

If you’re not currently an Amazon Prime member, you can still shop Prime Pantry. However, you will miss out on exclusive Prime deals, exclusive coupons and sales , free 2-day shipping, free movies and tv with Prime Video and more. Even better is that they offer 30-days of Amazon Prime free for new subscribers!

How to Watch Live TV for Free

For those that prefer live TV, Philo is my favorite live TV streaming service! For less than your morning coffee each week, you could easily have access to over 60 live television channels! Even better is that they offer the first 7 days totally free so you can make sure that Philo is best for your family. 7 days of live tv is great and once you try it, I’m sure you’ll find that your family loves it just as much as mine does!

How to Watch TV for Free

Hulu is one of the better streaming options available for movies and TV. If you’re not a current Hulu subscriber, you’re missing out and probably paying too much for the shows you love. Not only do they offer classic TV shows and movies, but you’ll also be able to catch up on current and recently aired episodes, news, Hulu Originals and more! Even better is that they offer 1 month totally FREE to new customers! After that, if you decide to keep the service, you’ll pay as low as $5.99 per month! If you decide it isn’t the right service for you, cancel easily right from your account.

If you’re having an issue keeping to your budget, a program like Tiller Money can help.

When you sign up for a Tiller Money account, it will automatically import your spending into a Google Docs spreadsheet everyday to help you budget better. For those of us that do well with spreadsheet budgets and for those that need a bit more help keeping track of their spending, it’s a great idea and works incredibly well! It’s one of my favorite new programs – well new to me that is! They’ll even give you the first 30-days free!

My Favorite Place to Buy Glasses

All four members of our family wear glasses which means I could easily go broke buying them. My favorite place to buy glasses helps to keep that from happening. 39 Dollar Glasses offers frames, lenses and more starting at just $39.00. It makes buying them so affordable we each have three spare pairs! They even offer contacts cheap too!
