Have you ever wondered what the elite buy for Christmas? I was curious too, so my Emma and I spent a bit of time today having some fun looking up ridiculously expensive gifts. It was super fun to spend some time together not only dreaming, but honestly? Laughing at some of these items too. As we were window shopping though, I realized that some of you might get a kick out of the items we were awestruck at what folks are paying for. Hence, this holiday gift guide! Below you’ll find a few of our favorite ridiculously expensive gift ideas!

Stuck on what to buy that special someone? If the budget fits, these ridiculously expensive gift ideas might just be what you're looking for!

I do want to say that this post is mostly in jest. While the items on it are (mostly) awesome, I personally can’t imagine someone spending the amount of money required to purchase them. However, if you do happen to have this much money simply lying around and can/would purchase them, please know that I am nut judging you. I think you need to manage your money better, but we all have our vices and if expensive gift ideas are one of yours, so be it.

Holiday Gift Guide – Ridiculously Expensive Gift Ideas

My daughter made a comment while we were looking at these expensive gift ideas. “These are for people who have more money than they know what to do with.” I concur kid. I concur. It is nice to dream though and that is exactly what a few of these allowed us to do! Hopefully they will do the same thing for you too! In all honesty, some of these aren’t that expensive when you consider what they are. Things like the coin, the dinosaur tooth and the 15 carat diamond ring, are understandable that they cost as much as they do! Others? Yeah, I just don’t understand it.

For me though, I am far too frugal for my mind to allow me to ever pay for something such as this! I want to live simply. I want to live frugally. Doing so isn’t hard. There are a lot of ways to live simply to save money and living frugally does not have to make you miserable. Wasting money on items like this just isn’t something that I want to do and if I was being honest with you, you should not want to either.

Being frugal and learning to save your money while making it grow at the same time means avoiding things like I have featured in this post. As Emma said, they’re fun to look at and fun to dream about, but that is about all they’re good for.

Ready to take a look? The items are below. To check them out, just click on their photos! Enjoy and have fun dreaming! On the second set of photos, click the grey arrow to shuffle through the expensive gift ideas.
