You ever have one of those moments where you realize that you’ve either lost a part of yourself or that you’ve just changed more than you ever wanted to? I’m sure we all have. I had one of those moments a few weeks ago and ever since then? I’ve been working on getting myself back.
It isn’t that I’ve lost a part of myself…its just that I’ve changed. I’m still the same person I have been inside, but outwardly? I’ve changed a lot. Some of them aren’t bad, others I’m not too happy about. I used to have a really kick butt sense of humor but over the last few years, that seems to have buried itself. Its not that I don’t find the same things funny, because for the most part? I do. Its more that I’ve just gotten REALLY quiet. I no longer laugh like I used to. I’m not as playful as I used to be. I’ve even stopped paying as much attention to my budget as I should be. *gasp*
Another thing? This blog turned into a solely deal based blog. I never intended it to be that despite the fact that I named it Adventures in Coupons. I wanted to help you guys save money, but never become dependent on the deals. I wanted it to be more about the recipes, tips and diy’s…about my own family as well. Somewhere along the way I lost that vision.
So I’ve decided that in the new year, I am finding my roots again and getting back to me both in my personal life and here on the blog. In the coming year, you guys can expect a lot more of what I intended for this blog to be…and probably more. 🙂 I intend to share a lot more of our life, share a lot more of what I hope will help you. I plan to laugh a lot more, hug my Emma more and maybe even give my own personal GI Joe a lot more wedgies…why? Because I can…lol.
Bear with me while I work on myself ya’ll….it could be a very bumpy ride. 🙂
Oh and stay tuned for the changes that are coming up on the blog. I’ll be telling you about those soon. Promise. 🙂
