Have I ever told you guys before just how much I love books? If you could see the bookshelves and crates we have here at our house? I might just be embarrassed by the sheer number of them. Okay, no I wouldn’t. What I would do is tell you about my love of books, hand you my favorite and tell you to read it. We won’t even mention how full my Kindle is. Since we started homeschooling, my Emma is becoming very much like me and almost always has a book in her hand. That’s actually how I came across these 35 kids books on space! I was planning an in depth homeschool unit study on space for her.
These 35 books span all ages and I think that’s what makes them the best! I’ve separated them out for you by age group, birth to five years old, six to eight years old and nine years old and up. If you’re interested, we will be using the majority of the nine and up books in our unit study. Take a look below because I’m positive you’ll find something for your little astronaut just like I did!
Ages Birth – 5 years:
On the Launchpad (Know Your Numbers)
National Geographic Readers: Planets
Ages 8 and Up
Astronauts Handbook (Forward by NASA Astronaut Cady Coleman)
